Law enforcement agencies arrested 16 individuals in Ashulia on charges of creating instability in the industrial sector. The arrests were made during joint operations by police and security forces on Saturday night in various locations across the area. Ashulia police confirmed the information on Sunday, October 13.
According to the police, the arrested individuals had been involved in activities that contributed to ongoing unrest in the industrial zones. After being apprehended during the joint operation, the suspects were sent to court today.
The law enforcement agencies stated that they had been conducting operations in response to disturbances in the garment industry. As part of this effort, 16 individuals were arrested yesterday.
Police added that the detainees are facing two separate cases related to their involvement in destabilizing the garment sector. They are also accused of assaulting garment workers and other disruptive activities, which led to their arrest.
Further investigations are ongoing as authorities work to restore stability in the area.
