48 Leading Garment and Textile Industry Business Owners Express Solidarity with Ongoing Anti-Discrimination Movement
48 top business owners in the garment and textile industry have expressed solidarity with the ongoing anti-discrimination movement by students. They have stated that business owners cannot remain silent in the face of loss of life. On Saturday, the garment industry representatives issued a statement expressing their solidarity. These young entrepreneurs hope that the current situation will return to normal for the greater good of the country.
In the statement, the garment business owners said, “We are expressing concern for all citizens of the country. As proud members of an independent nation, we believe that everyone should be able to exercise their rights peacefully. We deeply sympathize with those who have been affected by recent events. We want to see those responsible brought to justice through a proper investigation.”
The statement further reads, “We are deeply saddened and extend our condolences to those who have lost their lives and those who have faced harassment. Every life is important. We call for the prompt restoration of economic activities to ensure justice and safeguard the interests of this country and its people.”
The young entrepreneurs hope that the current situation will normalize for the country’s greater good.
