Farooq E Azam, Advisor to the Ministry of Relief, Disaster Management, and Liberation War Affairs in the interim government, has stated that this year’s Durga Puja was celebrated like a national festival. His remarks came on Sunday, October 13, during a visit to the “Paribartan” organization’s Durga Puja pavilion in Aman Bazar, Hathazari, Chattogram.
Azam highlighted that the festival was celebrated peacefully and with great enthusiasm, with participation from people across the country, including the administration and law enforcement agencies. He also called for maintaining this spirit of harmony in future celebrations. Chattogram’s Deputy Commissioner, Farida Khanam, and other officials were present during the visit.
