Liverpool’s new head coach, Arne Slot, has made history by becoming the first manager in the club’s 132-year history to win six consecutive away matches. Slot achieved this remarkable feat after a 1-0 victory over German side RB Leipzig in the UEFA Champions League.
Since taking charge, the 46-year-old Dutch coach has led Liverpool to 11 wins in 12 matches across the Premier League, Champions League, and League Cup. This includes impressive away victories against teams such as Manchester United, AC Milan, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Crystal Palace, and now Leipzig.
Slot’s incredible start makes him the first manager in English football history to win 11 out of his first 12 matches. Under his leadership, Liverpool has shown consistent dominance, both domestically and in Europe.
Despite these record-breaking achievements, Slot remains focused on securing trophies for the club. “It’s great to achieve something at such a prestigious club, and while records are certainly good, there’s something even better: winning trophies. That’s my ultimate goal,” said Slot, as he sets his sights on bringing silverware to Anfield.
Liverpool fans are now eagerly anticipating what more the season holds under Slot’s inspired leadership.
