In a recent development, a drone attack targeted the private residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. According to The Times of Israel, the incident occurred on Saturday, October 19, with no reports of casualties.
The report suggests that the attack was carried out by Hezbollah, a Lebanon-based militant group. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that an explosion was heard in the coastal town of Caesarea early Saturday morning, where Netanyahu’s residence is located.
Citing Saudi broadcaster Al-Hadath, Israeli media reported that one of the drones aimed specifically at Netanyahu’s home in Caesarea. However, Israeli authorities confirmed that neither the Prime Minister nor his wife was present at the residence during the attack.
The Prime Minister’s Office also confirmed that no damage was caused by the attack, and an investigation into the incident is underway.
