The decapitated body of Christina Joksimovic, a finalist and winner of the 2007 Miss Northwest Switzerland pageant, was found stuffed inside a laundry room bin bag at her home near Basel. Her two young children were playing in a nearby room at the time. The shocking incident was reported by BBC News.
The 38-year-old Christina was allegedly strangled to death in her home, and then her head was severed and dismembered. Authorities believe her head was further chopped into smaller pieces using a kitchen blender before being placed in the bin bag.
Christina’s husband, Thomas, has been identified as the prime suspect in this horrifying murder, with a formal case already filed against him. Prior to the discovery, Christina’s parents had repeatedly attempted to contact their daughter but were unsuccessful. After failing to reach her, they tried contacting Thomas, who also did not respond to their calls.
Worried, Christina’s parents went to the couple’s home, where they found their grandchildren in one of the rooms but could not locate their daughter. After a thorough search of the house, they discovered Christina’s decapitated body in a bag in the laundry room.
The investigation began when Christina failed to pick up her children from nursery school, prompting the school to contact her parents. This led to the devastating discovery.
