A deadly drone attack by Hezbollah has struck an Israeli military camp near Binyamina, south of Haifa, killing four soldiers and injuring 58 others. The attack targeted the Golani Brigade camp, located approximately 70 kilometers south of the Israel-Lebanon border.
According to a statement from Hezbollah, the assault was carried out in retaliation for Israel’s ongoing attacks in Gaza. The armed group claimed responsibility for the strike, which they say was a response to what they termed indiscriminate Israeli military operations in Palestine.
The Times of Israel confirmed the death toll, reporting that all four of the victims were Israeli soldiers stationed at the camp. The attack has heightened tensions between Israel and Hezbollah, as cross-border hostilities continue to escalate.
Israeli authorities are currently investigating the incident, and further details are expected to emerge as the situation develops.
