Iran is preparing for a retaliatory strike following recent attacks on its military installations by Israel. An official source in Tehran conveyed the response plan through Iran’s semi-official Tasnim News Agency, confirming Iran’s readiness to retaliate against the Israeli strikes.
“There is no doubt that any aggression against Iran will be met with an appropriate response,” the source asserted.
Residents of Tehran reported hearing multiple explosions early Saturday morning, just before dawn. According to Tasnim News, these sounds were related to Iran’s air defense systems countering Israeli airstrikes.
Earlier this month, on October 1, Iran launched 181 ballistic missiles targeting Israeli bases in response to the recent assassinations of key figures associated with regional allies. The missile strikes followed the killings of former Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah, and prominent Revolutionary Guard Commander Abbas Nilforoushan.
At the time, Tehran had warned that any direct action from Israel against Iran would prompt a powerful response. Now, with the latest attacks, Iran has reaffirmed its stance, readying itself for a counter-offensive that could heighten tensions across the region.
