The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made significant changes to the squad for the final two Test matches of the ongoing series against England. In a surprising move, star players Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Naseem Shah have been dropped from the team. England currently leads the series 1-0 after winning the first Test by an innings and 47 runs. The second Test is set to begin on Monday in Multan, with the final Test scheduled for October 24 in Rawalpindi.
The revised Pakistan squad includes: Shan Masood (Captain), Saud Shakeel (Vice-Captain), Amir Jamal, Abdullah Shafique, Haseebullah (Wicketkeeper), Kamran Ghulam, Mehran Mumtaz, Mir Hamza, Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Huraira, Mohammad Rizwan (Wicketkeeper), Nauman Ali, Saim Ayub, Sajid Khan, Salman Ali Agha, and Zahid Mahmood.
These changes have raised eyebrows among fans and experts, given the key roles of Babar and Shaheen in the team, as Pakistan aims to bounce back in the series.
