In a monumental Islamic conference held at Daejin University Stadium in Pocheon City near Seoul, South Korea, prominent Bangladeshi Islamic scholars Sheikh Ahmadullah and Dr. Mizanur Rahman Azhari shared the stage, drawing a massive crowd of Bangladeshi expatriates. The event, organized by the Korea Muslim Federation on September 15, was held under the guidance of the Sanguri Mosque.
The presence of Sheikh Ahmadullah and Dr. Azhari transformed the Islamic conference into a grand reunion for Bangladeshi expatriates living in South Korea.
Sheikh Ahmadullah addressed the gathering, advising expatriates to uphold the honor of Bangladesh and the Muslim community. He emphasized the importance of maintaining one’s identity while living abroad and answered various questions posed by the audience.
Dr. Mizanur Rahman Azhari focused on the character of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and encouraged everyone to embody good manners in their daily lives. His words resonated deeply with the audience, promoting a message of kindness and ethical conduct.
The event was presided over by M. Zaman Sojal, president of the Sanguri Mosque, while General Secretary Syed Tamal and Imam Mufti Muhammad Umar Farooq served as moderators.
Approximately 7,000 Bangladeshi expatriates from various regions of South Korea attended the conference. The gathering also saw the participation of local mosque Imams, community leaders, and business figures, marking a significant event for the expatriate community in South Korea.
