Washington, September 25, 2024: Former U.S. President Donald Trump has allegedly received assassination threats from Iran, according to claims made by his campaign, citing intelligence sources. Reuters reported the claims on Wednesday, stating that U.S. intelligence officials had briefed Trump about the threats.
On Tuesday, Trump’s campaign revealed that U.S. intelligence personnel informed him of multiple assassination attempts by Tehran, although these attempts had not been successful. Trump, the current Republican presidential candidate, stated that Iran posed a significant threat to his life.
Trump asserted, “Iran has tried to assassinate me several times, but they have failed.” He added that the U.S. military is closely monitoring the situation and has increased security measures to protect him.
There are concerns that Tehran could attempt further actions in the future, and Trump has been warned to remain extra cautious as a result of these ongoing threats.
